Listen To The Men In Black III Theme Song By Pitbull

It was a golden time in the 90s when Will Smith would write catchy theme songs for his movies. Sure Wild Wild West was a terrible, terrible movie but Smith's song was a lot of fun, as were his tracks for both of the previously released Men in Black movies. Sadly, it seems that Smith is no longer in the recording artist phase of his career - he hasn't released an album since 2005 - so he didn't write/perform a theme song for the upcoming Men in Black III. Instead those duties have been handed over to Pittbull and now his song, "Back In Time," has found its way online courtesy of RCA Records. Listen to it below.

Just for comparison's sake, here are the two music videos from Smith's time crafting music for the series:

Notice something very different here? Obviously Will Smith and Pitbull are very different artists, but where is the fun in this new track? Smith's songs weren't the greatest ever put on a record, but they did match the tone and were goofy enough to listen to over and over again. This is just a crappy rap over that song fromDirty Dancing. What's the point?

Directed by Barry Sonnenfeld, Men in Black III stars Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones, Josh Brolin, Jermaine Clement, Emma Thompson, Alice Eve, Bill Hader, and Michael Stuhlbarg and arrives in theaters on May 25th. To see more, head over to our Blend Film Database.
