Diary of a Mad Black Woman received less than glowing reviews (OK it was generally panned) but since it made over $50 million dollars on a budget of only $5.5 million it was a safe bet from the beginning that we would see more of Tyler Perry's Madea on the big screen.
Just like Diary of a Mad Black Woman, Perry's second theatrical offering of Madea is based on one of his stage productions. Madea's Family Reunion hits theaters on February 24th. We've got a new one sheet here for you. I never would have matched up Madea with a pop artist like Andy Warhol but, hey, whatever works for Perry's marketing crew.
