The Mop Scene Revealed In New Sorcerer's Apprentice Clip

Though it's not entirely obvious from the trailers, Jon Turteltaub's The Sorcerer's Apprentice is an adaptation of the poem Der Zauberlehrling by Goethe. No idea what that means? It's the magic mops scene from Fantasia. While we've seen glimpses of said mops in the trailers before, but now we get our first extended look.

Disney has sent us a clip of the iconic scene from the upcoming film. Introduced by stars Nicolas Cage and Jay Baruchel, this isn't a simple 30 second look but a full two minutes of mopping, sweeping, cleaning action. Needless to say, things get a bit out of hand when the young sorcerer thinks he can just leave the mops alone to do their thing.

Check out the clip below.
