Moving from the Academy Award-winning biopic Capote to the Oscar-nominated docudrama Moneyball, director Bennett Miller has a short but impressive hot streak going on, and one that it seems he is hoping to continue by sticking to his strengths for his next project Foxcatcher. Like his first two films, this drama is inspired by a bizarre true story, in this case the fall of Du Pont heir, John Du Pont, who used his fortune to build a training center for wrestlers, but eventually murdered one, Olympian Dave Schultz.

In an unexpected casting move, Miller chose funny man Steve Carell to play the homicidal heir, and now Deadline reports Sienna Miller will be joining the cast as well. She's slated to play wife to the ill-fated Olympian who will be portrayed by everyone's favorite Hulk, Mark Ruffalo. Channing Tatum, who co-starred with Miller in her last noteworthy film appearance, G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra, is also on board, lined up to play Schultz's brother. Production on Foxcatcher is slated to begin this fall, hot on the heels of the Tatum-vehicle, Roland Emmerich's White House Down.

Though Miller hasn't been making much of a mark at the movies of late, she's got some other interesting projects on the horizon. Earlier this year she wrapped on The Girl, in which she plays Tippi Hedren during the troubled production of Alfred Hitchcock's Birds. And coming in 2013 is A Case of You, a romantic comedy from writer-director Kat Coiro that co-stars Justin Long, Vince Vaughn, Sam Rockwell and Peter Dinklage.
