Superman Is An Ex-Boyfriend

With the news being so slow during Sundance, it seems like all we've been doing lately is reporting on casting for Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. The goofy-but-amazing sounding graphic novel adaptation already stars Michael Cera, Kieran Culkin and "human torch" Chris Evans, and now none other that Superman has jumped onboard.

Brandon Routh, in addition to Twilight actress Brie Larson, have both joined the cast, according to THR. Routh will be playing the third evil ex-boyfriend who has to be vanquished by Cera's lead character; Routh's character is "a rocker with vegan psychic powers." Larson, for her part, will pitch in as Envy Adams, Scott's ex whom he still has feelings for.

The cast that's coming together for this movie is so crazy, and potentially hilarious, that I can't help but be excited for this one. Michael Cera may be the biggest star in the cast, but he's going to have a lot of competition among his supporting players.
