Normally I'm opposed to prequels just on principle. That goes double if it's a prequel to a horror movie. After all, it worked out so well both times they tried it for The Exorcist (sarcasm indicated). But the first trailer for the upcoming Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning has just popped up online, and damned if it doesn't look good.
Now maybe I'm just in the mood for a good slasher, having just come home from seeing The Omen, but whatever the reason this thing has me interested. It's a sharp trailer, beautifully filmed, plenty of scares, and you've got to love the way they've mixed in such contrasting music.
