Subscribe To New Video Allows You To Watch Inception In Real Time Updates
With Inception finally arriving on DVD and Blu-ray tomorrow, it's about time that we start seeing viral videos about the film pop up again. After all, the movie was such an incredible phenomenon when it was in theaters that it's only natural that the mania will start all over again when everyone in the world can own their own personal copy. Please allow me to kick-start it (if you'll pardon the pun).

One of the cooler aspects of Inception was its use of time. For those that don't remember or didn't see the film (Seriously?) here's the breakdown: when you dream, time in the dream is exponentially faster than it is in reality. When you go into a dream within a dream, however, the exponent increases. So what would Inception look like if watched in real time?

YouTube user Weikang has created a video split into four parts that attempts to track the film in real time in each level of the dream. Of course it's not "real time" (the video is based on the speed of the first dream level) and it's not exactly perfect, but it's still impressive nonetheless. Though you might see them as annoying, I actually recommend watching the video with the comments turned on, simply because the video's author explains his process as it goes and actually points out why its not 100% dead on. Regardless, it's very cool and ambitious and certainly worth your time. Check it out below.
