Wolverine Goes In For Reshoots

Fox has a huge movie coming out this spring, one that might be able tot urn around its streak of bad luck from 2008. It already has a trailer running in theaters that looks pretty amazing, and now that Fox and Warner Bros. have settled their pissing contest over Watchmen, geeks can see Fox's movie guilt-free.

So what is Fox doing, months before Wolverine's release? Sending it in for re-shoots. And not just pick-up shots and coverage, according to Collider. "Weather conditions" is the official reason, apparently, because we all know you can't fake fog and clouds with CGI. Collider speculates the reshoots are coming about because Fox played its hand too strongly during the initial shoot, changing things that director Gavin Hood wanted nothing to do with. Apparently now they're trying to make things right by dragging the cast and crew back up to Vancouver.

So we can basically choose whether we think this indicates that Wolverine will be even better than we imagined, or if it means the whole thing is beyond repair. And we won't know who's right until the film comes out on May 1.
