How You Can See Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle Really Early

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle Dwayne Johnson and cast looking at distant danger

There's a fair amount of buzz surrounding Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, and now that the film has been shown to critics and early reviews are coming out, that buzz is unlikely to slow down. The move is already one of the most anticipated flicks set to hit theaters during the holiday season, and the movie has already been slated to help close out the month in style. However, if you're an Amazon Prime member, you'll be able to see Dwayne Johnson and his team kick some ass and make some laughs earlier than most of the pubic, as a special screening is set to take place next Friday night.

On December 8th, more than 1000 select locations will be screening Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle at 7 p.m., local time. If you are in the know, this is 12 days before the flick will officially hit theaters. To get access to this screening, you must have an Amazon Prime membership and will need to sign up in advance for the showing. You can purchase your tickets through an Amazon Prime platform, found here (opens in new tab), and secure yourself access to this rumble in the jungle almost two weeks before the full, public opening of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle in theaters. Not too bad, considering most other advance screenings entail luck-of-the-draw giveaways.

Once you go to the advance screening page over at Amazon, you'll be able to search available Amazon Prime Screenings nearby. Clicking around, it does look like you will have to pay your regular theater price for tickets, so this won't be a freebie, but it's still a cool experience to see a movie before most of the rest of the world does. Especially one you can take your kids and grandkids to, although we should note Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is PG-13, for obvious reasons, given it's death-oriented premise.

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle's early release is a pretty interesting idea on Sony's end, considering the film should be a family favorite, and has continued to raise its profile with the aforementioned buzz that has come out of its recent media screenings. Not to mention, depending on specific-to-location ticket price and how well the film goes over in the Amazon screening, the screening will hopefully be an additional boost to the film's chances at the box office in the long run.

With such a small advanced screening window, demand for tickets to Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle will more than likely be pretty high, so we suggest signing on for your chance to see the flick early. Not only will demand likely be high, tickets are also limited so act fast and get in on the deal while you can. To order tickets for Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle's December 8th screening, again, head over to Amazon (opens in new tab) for details. And if you happen to miss out, don't worry, because Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle will be in theaters everywhere on December 20th.
