Bethenny Frankel Speaks Out About Miscarriage For The First Time

Bethenny Frankel’s Bravo reality series Bethenny Ever After has followed her family from her engagement, through the addition of a baby in the family, and through several years of marriage. Through it all, she's made a nice life for herself, but that doesn't mean there haven't been challenges and strife along the way.

On Monday, Frankel appeared on NBC’s Today, to talk about the upcoming season of Bethenny Ever After, among other things. During the interview, Frankel was asked about the possibility of having a second child, and the former Real Housewives dropped a bit of a bomb. Apparently, Frankel was recently pregnant with her second child, but the pregnancy ended in a miscarriage after only eight weeks. 41 year-old Frankel seemed surprisingly even-keeled after the emotional event, later noting her age and reproductive capabilities.

"The window is closing, and it's something I'm dealing with."

Season 3 of Bethenny Ever After premieres tonight at 9 p.m. ET.
