Kevin Richardson Rejoins Backstreet Boys

Ordinarily when discussions of a reunion take place, it’s the lesser members who push to be included, but in the case of Backstreet Boy Kevin Richardson, he was the one who wanted no part of the project. He split from the other four members without any ill will all the way back in 2006, but after six years spent outside the company of his longtime colleagues, he’s decided he wants back in.

The announcement was made yesterday by Nick and Brian during a concert at Britain’s famed 02 Arena, and not surprisingly, it was greeted very warmly by the massive crowd of enthusiasts. It’s unclear exactly how long it might take to reintegrate the forty-year-old into the lineup, but given how long he spent with the guys during their meteoric rise to the top of the charts, the process should fit seamlessly like an old shoe.

According to E! News, the guys let their hardcore fans not in attendance know the hullabaloo via Twitter last night, which isn’t exactly the only piece of good news one of the guys has surprised fans with on the Internet this past week. AJ Mclean used Youtube to announce an impending addition to his new family yesterday.

With so much good news floating around, it’s easy to see why the Backstreet Boys appear to be in such good spirits. Pop Blend wishes the group and its members nothing but the best as they continue to dazzle fans with their classic hits and choreographed maneuvers.
