Child star Anna Chlumsky is all grown up. The thirty-two-year-old actress, best known as the lead in My Girl, announced this week that she’s expecting her first child. She and her husband of five years Shaun So haven’t announced any specific details about the pregnancy including sex or possible names, but we do know she’s scheduled to give birth this summer and somehow made it through her first trimester without very much morning sickness.

Here’s what Chlumsky told People
“I’m feeling pretty good so far. I was really lucky — I did not have any morning sickness which was great because I was working.”

When Chlumsky says working, she’s referring to the HBO comedy Veep. She starred as the vice president’s chief of staff during the first season of the hit show that won rave reviews for its balance of brilliant subtlety and over-the-top belly laughs. Earlier this year, all involved taped another season that is set to premiere in April. If it’s even half as good as what we got the first time around, everyone should be in for a treat too.

Pop Blend’s sincerest congratulations go out to Chlumsky and So as they embark on this new adventure. Here’s to hoping the addition to the family brings everyone even closer.
