One of the things Syfy’s Being Human continues to do well is to combine the supernatural element with realistic and relatable life issues. Take Sally’s interactions with her mother last night. Not only did “Mama Said There’d Be Decades Like This” address the fact that Sally actually has parents, but it had her dealing with the notion that she may not know them as well as she thought she did. That’s part of growing up, for some, and it’s something people come to deal with at different times in their life... or in Sally’s case, her death.

While last night’s episode dealt, in part, with Sally’s family, next Monday’s episode may focus somewhat on a bit of her past. The clip below has her dealing with what seems like a typically unruly poltergeist, however at one point, she seems to suspect that she may have a closer connection with it...

Is Danny dead and haunting Sally as a poltergeist? That would certainly make for an interesting twist, though it seems kind of soon after her encounter with her mother for her to be meeting yet another person from her life in the afterlife. We’ll have to wait to find out what’s going on here.

Being Human airs at Mondays at 9:00 p.m. Et on Syfy.
