MTV to Rock iTunes With Four Original Series

Adding to its previous deals with shows like ‘Laguna Beach’ and ‘Yo Mama,’ MTV has signed a deal to upload four new series to iTunes. For $1.99 an episode, ‘Real World: Denver,’ ‘My Super Sweet Sixteen,’ along with newcomers ‘Rob and Big’ and ‘Twentyfourseven,’ will be made available for download at separate dates within the next six weeks.

Variety.com reports that the first episode of ‘Rob and Big’ will be released for free as a special treat this Halloween as part of a promotional campaign for its Thursday opening. ‘Big’ showcases an odd couple reality-based comedy starring professional-street-skateboarder Rob Dyrdek and his mammoth best friend and bodyguard Christopher ‘Big Black’ Boykin. The buddy comedy debuts November 2 at 10:30 PM EST.

‘Twentyfourseven,’ a show about seven friends trying to get work in the ultra-competitive world of Hollywood, kicks off December 6. Episodes on iTunes will be available the same day. ‘Real World’ returns this season in Denver, CO with another set of septuplet co-eds trying to brave angst and awkward hook-up situations. Its iTunes release is set for the same day as its premier, on November 22.

‘My Super Sweet 16’ features coming-of-age related celebratory bashes for super spoiled teenagers, and will also be available on iTunes the day its new season begins, November 8.
