Pirate Master Contestant Walks Off Life's Plank

When CBS gave ‘Pirate Master’ its walking papers a few weeks ago, I thought the show had suffered the worst of many possible fates. Sadly, it seems that was only the start of the ‘ol scurvy destruction train. Last Friday, contestant Cheryl Kosewicz was found dead from an apparent suicide. You probably remember Cheryl as one of Joe Don’s top assistants and easily the strongest female player.

According to Zap2It.com, Kosewicz had been struggling to get over the recent suicide of her boyfriend, Ryan O’Neil. Apparently, his untimely death in conjunction with the program’s heinous reviews was just too much for the talented attorney. She was 35. My thoughts and prayers go out to Cheryl’s family in this horrendous time of need.
