The Price Is Cleveland

A few days ago, we brought you news that Rosie O’Donnell’s name has been added to the coveted list of Bob Barker replacement candidates. Basically the entire thing is just one big clusterfuck of schmucks, painfully average Joes, and idiots who would probably piss all over Barker’s reputation. Unfortunately, I can’t really watch this fracas of mediocrity with indifference because I love ‘The Price Is Right.’ It is the greatest game show ever created, the only place where you can watch old women run around like six year old girls after winning a free toaster oven. It’s glorious, and I would give my left nut to find someone that can carry on the lofty legacy.

Thankfully, I may have a break. According to Variety, Drew Carey is being interviewed about possibly plopping himself down on the CBS stage. Thank you, Jesus. Drew Carey would be absolutely perfect for this gig. He’s very personable and seems to get along with citizens from all walks of life. He’s also very good off-the-cuff, as exemplified by his hosting duties on ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway?’ and his numerous live ‘Drew Carey Show’ episodes.

Not sold yet? Who needs Barker’s Beauties when you have Carey’s Cuties? It just rolls off of the tongue. And for the record, it’s way better than O’Hurley’s Harlots or Rosie’s Randy Jezebels.
