Other than the anticipation of getting to rebel, nothing motivates rebels more than a good speech. The clip we have to show you from this Friday night’s episode (“Libertus”) has Spartacus confirming rumors whispered among the other rebels. Not only is it motivational, but it gives us a big hint as to what’s on deck for those opposing the might Republic. Spoilers ahead!
As of last Friday, we know that Crixus and some other rebels were in the hands of Glaber and are set to return to the arena. Oenomaus also appears to be on that list, which will hopefully result in him being merged back into the group of rebels, assuming these guys can get out of there. That brings us to the video below. It looks like Spartacus is planning to return to the arena, but not before rallying the rebels for a motivational speech...
That’s certainly something worth looking forward to, as is the arrival of Gannicus, who was last seen winning his freedom at the end of Gods of the Arena. From this preview, it looks like he’s headed back into the arena. Will he face off with Oenomaus? As epic a battle as that may be, especially given that Oenomaus now knows his once BFF had a brief romance with his wife.
