Trailer For Death Valley May Make You Want Your MTV

While the new Teen Wolf remake series hasn't been nearly as bad as the phrase "the new Teen Wolf remake series" would suggest, it hasn't exactly been must-see TV in this household either. Now, we've got another upcoming MTV series that dips into the paranormal, and I don't think this one was on anybody's radar.

MTV's Death Valley will follow a new branch of the LAPD, the "Undead Task Force," which is created to deal with new threats after vampires, werewolves, and other things that go bump at the night overrun the San Fernando Valley. The horror-comedy will be shot documentary style, so think that episode of X-Files that parodied Cops. You can watch the trailer below courtesy of EW. Being an MTV property, it features girl-on-girl kissing, Kardashian references, and boob-zooming.

This thing could go either way. The writers involved have credits spanning from Mad TV to Undeclared, and the cast includes recognizable faces like Lost's Tania Raymonde and The Hangover's Bryan Callen. We'll have to wait until Monday, August 29th to see what Death Valley has to offer.
