Last night's episode of The Walking Dead stepped away from the mayhem and tension between Woodbury and the prison and focused on Rick as he headed back home in search for weapons and found an old friend there. Based on the promo and sneak peeks we have to show you from "Arrow on the Doorpost," it looks like the show will be bringing us back into the feud between Rick and the Governor.

There are just four episodes remaining in the third season of The Walking Dead, and if last season is any indication, things could start getting really bad for our favorite characters very soon. The third-to-last episode of Season 2 saw Dale torn open at the end. Feels like forever ago, doesn't it? Below is the promo for "Arrow on the Doorpost," which hints at the next confrontation between Rick and the Governor.

It looks like Andrea will be involved in this somehow. Maybe the Governor uses her to help arrange a meeting. And it also looks like Merle's doling out advice to Glenn, which may or may not be a good thing.

In this clip, Hershel, Daryl and Rick scope out a location.

Hershel appears to be well armed for the occasion.

And finally, here's a glimpse of a very tense scene between Rick and the Governor.

It looks like the Governor has the upper hand here and in the promo, which isn't a good thing. But hopefully Rick has some back-up just in case. Seems likely that Daryl's around somewhere.

You can read our full breakdown of last night's episode ("Clear") here. The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9:00 p.m. ET on AMC.
