The Walking Dead's third season staggers ever closer, and with its approach, we've been getting more hints and teasers as to what's ahead for the AMC zombie drama. It seems like not so long ago that we were watching the great Hershel farm exodus. And in just a month, we'll see where their path leads. A few great promotional photos featuring some of the characters have made their way online, including a new look at The Governor.
Those of us who saw the very end of the Season 2 finale have a good idea of where the characters are headed, and the spoilers and teasers that have made their way online since have filled in some of the blanks. Among the new characters is The Governor (David Morrissey), a character fans of the comics have been greatly anticipating. He looks pretty menacing in this photo Yahoo posted (via ScreenCrush), what with the giant knife in his hand.
Excluding the knife and factoring in the setting, you could almost forget that he's living in a post-apocalyptic age where the dead rise and try to eat you.Nice chair. Nice lamp. Nice glass of scotch on the table.
And in these ones we have a look at a few familiar faces, who are looking a bit less clean than the Governor (also, I don't see any fancy chairs or drinks for them).
First up, there's Rick and Carl (Andrew Lincoln and Chandler Riggs) with no sign of Lori.
And here's Daryl (Norman Reedus), who comes accessorized with his trusted crossbow.
And two more favorites, Glenn (Steven Yeun) and Maggie (Lauren Cohan).
The Walking Dead Season 3 premieres Sunday, October 14 at 9/8c on AMC.
