What Daniel Radcliffe May Never Wear Again Thanks To Harry Potter
When a certain costume piece succinctly defines an actor's most iconic role, they might well shy away from it as they try to be seen for a wider range. Michael J. Fox might avoid red puffer vests, for example. Or Harrison Ford may never again wear an Indiana Jones-styled hat. But for Daniel Radcliffe, that means glasses. The Harry Potter star has instituted a bit of a ban on the prop that ties him too closely to his most iconic role.

Weekend Box Office: Nightcrawler and Ouija In Dead Heat For Number One
Halloween had a spate of horror, thriller and just plain creepy dramas in theaters, but none of them performed very well. That might be because getting candy for free going door to door is way better than taking out a second mortgage to be able to afford the kinds sold in movie theaters, but more likely audiences are just saving their pennies for bigger entries set to roll out in the next few weeks.

The Fear Monger: A Hellishly Great Horns Trailer And A Trip To The Further With Insidious: Chapter 3
Good day, ticklers of all things ribless. This weekend, San Diego is the scariest place to be in the entire country. Not only because of The Walking Dead’s "Escape" attraction that Comic-Con is offering, but because there are entirely too many people out there, and I’m guessing most of them are hiding very dark secrets beneath their Wonder Woman and Game of Thrones costumes. Be careful out there.

Daniel Radcliffe Faces Fire And Snakes In Horns Trailer
At long last, Horns has a trailer, and though it doesn't give a whole lot away about the plot of the film, which is based on a novel by Joe Hill, it does look like something out of a nightmare, complete with fire, snakes and -- obviously -- horns!

Horns Movie U.S. Rights Picked Up, Still No Release Date Yet
With the feature adaptation of Joe HIll's Horns having made its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival last month, we were left to hope that -- in addition to positive buzz about the movie -- there would be some news about U.S. distribution. The buzz has ranged from mixed to positive from what I've read, which is ok. Better than ok is the news that the film finally has a distributer.

2013 Movies You're Not Looking Forward To Yet, But Should Be
The fun of moviegoing is often in the surprises, in thinking you've got the lay of the land only to walk into a theater completely thrown off. At the same time, you can at least do your best to be prepared, and to keep a mental note for those movies that could sneak up on you in the end. Yes, everyone on the Internet is already anticipating Man of Steel and Pacific Rim and Saving Mr. Banks and the year's other heavyweights, but what about the smaller movies you might not see coming?

Daniel Radcliffe Grows A Pair In First Look At Horns
In Alexandre Aja's Horns, based on the novel by Joe Hill, Daniel Radcliffe will be working with a much different kind of magic than what we saw him use in the Harry Potter series. In the movie he stars as a young man named Ignatius “Ig” Perrish who wakes up one morning to discover that a pair of devilish horns has sprouted from his head and that's he's wanted for the brutal rape and murder of his girlfriend.

Daniel Radcliffe Will Sprout Horns In New Supernatural Thriller
No one knew quite where Daniel Radcliffe’s career might take him post-Harry Potter. Given how recently the beloved series ended, it would probably be unfair to make a larger commentary on what type of movies he prefers, but I think it’s probably fair to say he has no interest in taking the safe route.

Alexandre Aja To Direct Adaptation Of Joe Hill's Horns
Alexandre Aja broke out in 2003 with his well-crafted - albeit strangely ended - thriller High Tension, but there's been a strange pattern to his career since. In the last five years, Aja has directed The Hills Have Eyes, Mirrors, and Piranha. If you haven't already picked up on it, the pattern is that he's been stuck in a seemingly endless series of remakes, and while two out of three of the films didn't turn out half bad, originality is always preferred over the rehash.

Shia LaBeouf Will Grow Horns In Joe Hill Adaptation
Stephen King adaptations have been a staple of the movie industry since the mid-1970s. Though they've ranged from spectacular - The Shining - to godawful - Sleepwalkers - King's words have long been inspiration for movies. Now his son is getting into the game as well, and his first feature adaptation has landed a star.

Horror Author Joe Hill Goes To The Movies
Joe Hill is just your average young writer, trying to get his books read and published. Then again, he's also the son of Stephen King, and perhaps that helped a little in getting his first two novels picked up for movie deals by major studios
