I’d like to take this moment to discuss something serious with you fine readers. Serious Sam, that is. The over-the-top, gun-toting, one-liner-spouting, first-person shooting hero of awesomeness is about to invade the Xbox 360, again, in the forthcoming The Serious Sam Collection. It rolls four games into one. No, seriously. I’m being seriously serious here.
You know what’s better than killing aliens with a gun? Killing aliens with a stack of guns held together with nothing more than duct tape and awesomeness. All of that, and more, is now available on Xbox Live Arcade in the form of Serious Sam Double D XXL.
Xbox 360 fans will get a nice dose of some first-person cooperative goodness soon with Serious Sam Double D XXL, which is set to release for Microsoft's home console on February 20th, later this year...or rather, next month. The game will be a fully featured release across XBL and will carry a moderate budget price of 800 MS Points.
I know it’s the holidays, but now it’s time to get Serious. And by Serious, of course I mean Serious Sam, one of the baddest mo-fos to ever pick up a rocket launcher. Whether you’ve been naughty or nice this year, the festive folks at Croteam, Devolver Digital and Mastertronic are of the opinion that you deserve a present or two. That’s why they’ve marked down pretty much all things Serious Sam related for a special holiday sale on the Xbox Live Arcade.
It was announced last week that PC gamers would be getting some “Jewel of the Nile” DLC for Serious Sam 3 BFE, and now we can announce that the same DLC is headed to the XBLA version of the game. What’s that? There isn’t an XBLA version of the game, you say? Well, as of Oct. 17, there will be. Booya!
Serious Sam 3: BFE is about to get even bigger as the “Jewel of the Nile” DLC finally receives a launch date of Oct. 16.
Available today, Serious Sam 3: BFE throws away the need to take cover...Sam is all man and he does what any real man in a life-threatening situation would do when countless baddies are shooting particle dispensing beams and limb-shredding lasers at him...he stands in the wide open with a big gun and shoots at things.
With its Xbox Live debut on the way a new trailer was revealed for Serious Sam HD, showcasing the re-imagining of the classic title in full-on HD.
One of the main selling points of Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter, if you can't tell from the title, is the game's shiny high-def graphics. Today cdv Software sent out a load of screenshots showing off that feature.
First-person shooter Serious Sam: The First Encounter is coming to Xbox 360. Original developers Croteam partnered up with Devolver Digital to create an high definition remake of the 2001 game for Xbox Live Arcade.
