The Griffins are branching out into gaming. A teaser website for a game called Family Guy Online went online today.

The website allows visitors to register for a closed beta. It's not clear when testing will begin. However, the game is going to launch this autumn.

The site gives no details about the game itself. The title obviously suggests it's a multiplayer game. It may be a Facebook game or MMO.

The terms of service for the mailing list have a couple hints, though. It mentions purchasing virtual goods or items and says that the company has a right to charge a subscription. There's also some talk of creating customizable avatars.
