You don't hear much about 1940s crime thriller L.A. Noire these days but don't think that means that it's in limbo. Publisher Rockstar Games says the game's development is going well.

"While we have yet to announce a definitive release date, L.A. Noire is coming along quite splendidly, and we’re going to have details to share with you all very soon," said Rockstar in a Q&A with gamers.

What little information has been revealed about the game is available through the official website. Rockstar's Q&A moved onto other subjects - the fate of Donald Love in GTA3, Red Dead Redemption stat tracking and so on - so the above sentence is all that was said about Noire.
