Warner Bros Interactive announced a new incentive pass for Xbox Live members who happen to enjoy a little Mortal Kombat. Signing up with the Mortal Kombat season pass enables users discounted access to DLC and compatibility upgrades.

Just to clarify what you get when you go all out and grab yourself a season pass…

Gamers who purchase the Mortal Kombat Season Pass (or individual Add-on content) will automatically get the free klassic skins when they download each warrior. Those who do not purchase the Mortal Kombat Season Pass or the Add-ons, will be able to download the compatibility packs for free and have access to the klassic skins as well.

So basically, by paying more money now you save more money later. Not a bad concept if Mortal Kombat is a game you plan to play for the next couple of months.

The pass will be available starting June 21st, at which time gamers will be able to purchase four downloadable warriors, receive the compatibility upgrades and some klassic skins all for only 1200 MS points. Not too shabby if I must say so myself.
