Though this holiday season is going to be thinner than originally expected, Ryu will not be abandoning us. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 will arrive in North America on September 29th and in the UK on October 2nd.

Sigma 2 is a PS3 remake of the 2008 action game Ninja Gaiden 2. The new version features new playable characters, online co-op, Trophies, and never-before-seen enemies. The gore's been toned down a bit as well.

North American pre-order customers have the option of grabbing an exclusive $69.99 Collector's Edition through GameStop. The Sigma 2 CE comes bundled with an 80 page book containing exclusive art, a color comic, and a strategy guide.
