The casting is being finalized for the upcoming Bond movie, which has yet to be titled. Among the casting additions is French actress Berenice Marlohe, who’s the latest Bond girl. Also joining the cast is Helen McCrory, who may be recognized by Harry Potter fans for playing Draco’s mother, Narcissa Malfoy.

According to Daily Mail, Marlohe was screen-tested by director Sam Mendes for the movie and the French beauty met his approval. The site also mentioned that 28 Days Later‘s Naomie Harris has been cast to play Miss Moneypenny.

As for McCrory, her role is currently unspecified, much like the title of the film, though recent rumors suggest that Bond 23 may be called Skyfall, though there’s been no official confirmation on that as well. What is confirmed, based on these latest cast additions, is that, much like in the previous Bond films, the women in this one are all exceptionally beautiful.

The Hour's Ben Whishaw also joins the cast, but much like McCrory, his role is unspecified at this time.

Whishaw, McCrory, Harris and Marlohe join Daniel Craig, Judi Dench, Javier Bardem, and Ralph Fiennes in the cast of the next installment of James Bond’s adventures, which is expected to hit theaters next fall (November 9, 2012).

Assistant Managing Editor

Kelly put her life-long love of movies, TV and books to greater use when she joined CinemaBlend as a freelance TV news writer in 2006, and went on to serve as the site’s TV Editor before joining the staff full-time in 2011 and moving over to other roles at the site. At present, she’s an Assistant Managing Editor who spends much of her time brainstorming and editing features, analyzing site data, working with writers and editors on content planning and the workflow, and (of course) continuing to obsess over the best movies and TV shows (those that already exist, and the many on the way). She graduated from SUNY Cortland with BA in Communication Studies and a minor in Cinema Studies. When she isn't working, she's probably thinking about work, or reading (or listening to a book), and making sure her cats are living their absolute best feline lives.
