You may want to hate Scott Pilgrim vs. The World as the ultimate expression of douchey hipster sub-culture run amok, but it’s hard to keep hating when the trailers are this fun.
A new international trailer for the Michael Cera movie has been released, and impossibly, it takes the fun levels up to eleven. In particular this trailer offers an extended look at Brandon Routh’s part in the film, and as usual he seems genius.
The film stars Cera as a would-be boyfriend who must defeat the evil ex-boyfriends of his love interest, Ramona Flowers, in order to win her heart. He does this by engaging in insane fight sequence themed after classic video games, while wearing skinny jeans. Like I said, on paper, douchey. In practice, fun. Watch:
