Jason Bateman Coupled With Jennifer Ganer

By Josh Tyler: 2007-02-22 01:39:56
Jason Bateman Coupled With Jennifer Ganer Jason Bateman, whose career resurgence seems to be going along even better since the cancellation of ‘Arrested Development’, has lined up another high profile project. He’s on the verge of becoming the new John Travolta. He just needs to do a movie with a talking baby. Plenty of those to choose from.

His latest is a role in the Jennifer Garner movie Juno. The Hollywood Reporter says he joins it along with Alison Janney.

The movie is about teen pregnancy in a high school. So don’t expect a reprisal of Bateman’s genius panty bit from Smokin’ Aces. The film casts him as Garner’s emotionally dead husband, together they’re considering adopting the child of a pregnant teen named Juno. Janney plays Juno’s stepmother.

Before he does Juno, you’ll see Jason Bateman in Peter Berg’s new thriller The Kingdom. He’s also just finished working on Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium, and somewhere along the line he’s got a part in Will Smith’s superhero romance movie Tonight, He Comes.
