It should be well known by now that Disney's Muppets are going on another adventure in the very near future. As awesome as this is in its own right, your excitement should only be magnified by the fact that Forgetting Sarah Marshall's Jason Segel penned the script and Flight of the Conchords co-creator James Bobin will direct. Quite the team behind quite the project.

Recently retitled The Greatest Muppet Movie of All Time, the film has signed it's first human actor, according to THR, and it's none other than the film's screenwriter Jason Segel. This shouldn't come as that big of a surprise since the idea to even make a new Muppet film essentially came from his brain; it only makes sense that he step into the lead.

Solid details on the story are still under wraps but sources are saying the film will follow a man (Segel) on a journey to reunite the Muppets in order to save their old studio from being overtaken by a Texas oil man. As far as we know, none of that has been 100% confirmed and what we have heard could be from earlier drafts of the script, so don't get your panties in a twist if that doesn't sound appealing to you. Just be excited that the film has someone that truly loves the Muppets both behind and in front of the camera, which should make for something really wonderful....we hope.
