MOVIE NEWS
Park Outside X3 Finally some good X3 news is out there, so I couldn’t resist reporting it. Last week, we reported (here) that Ray Park, who played “Toad” in the first X-Men film might be returning in the third installment. Now I like Ray Park well enough. He’s not much of an actor, but he’s a terrific stuntman. But X3 is already overloaded with villains and heroes. The last thing it needs is another character thrown into the mix, especially one that’s supposed to be dead. Besides, Toad was never that great a character anyway.
Well, this morning AICN is reporting that the Ray Park rumors are false. According to their mysterious and occasionally reliable contacts at Fox, he is not involved in the film and will not be at any time in the foreseeable future. I’m sure this is sad news for Park, but it’s good news for all of us. With Juggernaut, Magneto, Pheonix, and Mystique X3 is already full up on villains. |
