It comes out in just over a month, and I still have no idea what Will Smith's Seven Pounds is actually about. And the people marketing the thing don't seem too interested in changing that. The official poster for the movie, which comes out December 19, has been released, and its message is pretty much "Will Smith! Lookin' serious! Don't you want to see this?"
From what I can tell the movie is about Smith's character, a wealthy businessman who is given the opportunity to change the lives of seven people. How he does that, and how he chooses the people, is still a mystery. But then, they don't really need to tell us much about the plot when Smith is the star. Check out the poster below, from Sony Pictures, and figure out how much Smith's giant face compels you to go see his movie. If you're like me, you'll find yourself seeing it without really knowing why.
