Seven Pounds re-teams Will Smith with Pursuit of Happyness director Gabriele Muccino, and even though the movie opens on December 19th, and even though below you’ll find the film’s first official trailer… you will still have absolutely no idea what it’s about. The movie has no real plot synopsis and the trailer offers only the vague explanation that Will Smith plays a man who must do seven life changing things for seven strangers, for unknown and mysterious reasons. Along the way he meets Woody Harrelson playing a blind man and falls in love with Rosario Dawson while we enjoy inspirational and uplifting music.

I think it's good that they don't reveal the whole plot in the preview. They show just enough to make me want to see it so I can find out exactly what it's about AS I'M WATCHING IT IN THE THEATER.
I know that as it gets closer to the release date, the previews will have a voice over guy explaining the hell out of it and they'll probably show the ending, but for now I say "Bravo, trailer editor guy or gal! Next time take it easy on the uplifting music."
