Transformers 2 Subtitled![]()
Michael Bay’s Transformers sequel has just started filming, but it’s already got a title. No it isn’t Transformers 2. According to Coming Soon they’re calling it Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen. Personally I was hoping for Transformers 2: Starscream Strikes Back.
It’s not a bad title, but let’s face it, five years from now we’re all going to be calling it Transformers 2. Hollywood really should give in on the subtitles and just go with numbers. When they talk about it, nobody calls Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End by At World’s End. They call it Pirates 3. So call it what you want Paramount, Revenge of the Fallen will always be Transformers 2. Meanwhile, in other Transformers news, Michael Bay has been talking to the folks at MTV about the followup. He has some good news. This isn’t one of those lame tweener movies that exists only to serve as a setup for a third film. In a Hollywood where everyone is making trilogies, Michael Bay promises he’s just making a sequel. Self-contained, and probably better for it. Bay promises, “Let’s just say [this] is not a lame sequel.” |
