Feud Over? Vin Diesel Wrote Dwayne Johnson A Really Nice Birthday Post

It's been a few weeks since we first learned that The Fate of the Furious leads Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel may have buried the hatchet in regards to their rumored beef. However, if you need to see the evidence with your own eyes, look no further than the post Vin Diesel recently shared wishing Dwayne Johnson a very happy birthday. It's a good one.

Dwayne Johnson turned 45 earlier this week, and plenty of people wished the actor a happy birthday on social media. However, there's no post that's more intriguing than the one Vin Diesel shared to Instagram, which called back to all of the things the two actors have been able to accomplish with the Fast & Furious franchise. Vin Diesel went so far as to say he is "proud" of what the two have accomplished, and it certainly seems if there were any bygones at any point, the two have worked to put them behind them.

Vin Diesel's post is a timely post in several ways, too, not just because it marks the end of the perceived issues between the two actors but also because The Fate of the Furious has absolutely crushed at the box office in recent weeks and just a few days ago the movie reached the billion dollar mark worldwide. This was a big achievement for the movie, considering that domestically, the flick opened a little short of the last film in the franchise. It also bodes well for what is to come in the Fast & Furious world. Since clearly the franchise is still crushing, it's good that its leads seem back to getting along.

The news about Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel seemingly putting their issues behind them comes at a good time, as the ninth and 10th installments of the franchise have already been announced. This means that the actors known for playing Hobbs and Dom will have to share set time together in the future, and if they hadn't put their issues behind them, it could have made for exceedingly long shoots, not to mention annoying press junkets and red carpets in the time after.

It should be noted that along with the next two confirmed movies in the franchise, there have been rumors that there could be an additional spinoff in the works between Jason Statham and Dwayne Johnson's characters, which could mean we eventually get a Fast movie without Johnson and Vin Diesel having to work together. Producers related to the franchise have already stated this concept could work, but we'll have to wait and see what ends up happening. For now, you can catch The Fate of the Furious in theaters and live in comfort knowing that two of the movie's leads no longer seem to have any issues.
