Photographers and celebrities might often have a bit of a combative relationship, but from a certain perspective, they’re kind of in the same boat. At least that’s what Charlie Sheen seems to think. Earlier this week, the actor fired off a check for $12,000 to the family of Chris Guerra, the twenty-nine-year-old who tragically died while taking pictures of Justin Bieber’s car.

According to TMZ, Guerra’s parents were trying to raise money to hold a funeral for their son when word was passed on to the former Two And A Half Men and current Anger Management star about the lack of funds. He quickly reached into his checkbook and sent along a little something for the family.

Here’s what he had to say when asked about his decision to donate money for the funeral…
"A tragic incident like this erases the line between the photographer and the subject. It's an unforgiving moment that begs us all to be human and work as one to prevent this in the future. As parents, we are all not supposed to bury our children. My deepest condolences to the families involved."

Charlie may have had some problems in the past with decision-making, but over the past year or so, he’s really started to turn things around. This is just one of many examples of the actor putting others ahead of himself and seeking out opportunities to improve the lives of others.

Pop Blend’s sincerest thoughts go out to the entire Guerra family, as well as everyone else affected by Chris’ tragic death.
