Michael Jackson Hit With Another Molestation Claim

Michael Jackson spent much of his later years dodging disturbing rumors about his personal life, and in the years since his death, itís actually been more of the same. First, longtime friend Wade Robson, who defended him at his trials, went public with molestation claims, and now, a second alleged victim has come forward.
According to TMZ, the man at the center of the allegations is James Safechuck. All the way back in 1987, he appeared alongside Michael Jackson in the performerís legendary Pepsi commercial when he was 10-years-old. The two of them hung out for years afterwards and were photographed in public numerous times. For more than two decades, Safechuck denied anything shady ever happened, but now he claims he has new memories of being molested between the ages of 10 and 15.
All of the court paperwork is sealed at this point. As a result, we donít know any of the specific claims he might have or what evidence he might have to support his allegations, but regardless, itís going to be an uphill battle for him. The statute of limitations to both accuse someone of molestation and to make a claim against Michael Jacksonís estate have both passed. So, in order to ever see a dime for his alleged pain and suffering, his attorney is going to need to make a compelling case that he should be afforded special treatment.

Itís a well-established fact at this point that Michael Jacksonís relationship with all those young boys was abnormal and kind of head-scratching, but thereís a big difference between being a weirdo and being a pedophile. Both Safechuck and Robson defending the legend for years when he was accused by other people. That obviously doesnít mean theyíre lying now, but it does add another layer of complexity to a situation thatís already utterly bizarre.
