Surprise! That Thing You Do Actor Johnathon Schaech Got Married In July

Johnathon Schaech is about to be a father, and apparently, he’s already a husband. The Ray Donovan actor somehow slipped a secret wedding past the media for more than a month. Fortunately, some of the details have emerged now, and it sounds like it was a lovely affair.

According to People, Schaech and his new wife, Julie Solomon, walked down the aisle in a ceremony near the end of July. A very small group of family and friends made the trip to Ocean City, Maryland for the event, and it took place on the beach at sunset. Considering he had just gotten back from a three month shoot in Bulgaria for Hercules 3D and she’s going to have the couple’s first child any day now, the timing makes a whole lot of sense. If they waited, it would have been months before another date would have been feasible, and clearly, they wanted to make an official commitment sooner rather than later.

Whenever the baby is born, he will be named Camden. That handle is really trendy right now. More importantly, it’s also a link to Schaech’s beloved Baltimore Orioles who play in Camden Yards. Solomon apparently brought up the name at random without any idea of the connection, and it was, of course, immediately approved by her baseball loving then-fiancée-now-husband.

Pop Blend’s sincerest congratulations go out to Schaech and Solomon during this exciting time. Between the baby and the excitement of being married, their emotions should be heightened over the next few months. Hopefully, they each enjoy all the little moments and fall in love just a little bit more.
