HBO released a new production video for the second season of Game of Thrones. While we still have a few months to wait for the series’ return, at least we have these little tidbits about the production of the show to tide us over, right?
Production Designer Gemma Jackson, Supervising Art Director Frank Walsh and Set Director Tina Jones are featured in the video below, which gives us a glimpse of some of the sets and props that will serve as the backdrop for Season 2 of HBO’s adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s beloved Song of Ice and Fire series.
I brought this up when I posted the Renly’s Armor video, but I’ll say it again since it seems to apply here. I like to hear that they’re taking the characters into account when working on the sets. The attention to detail is what sets this series above other shows on TV and does Martin’s story justice.
And in the spirit of lame puns, for those who read my write-up for the Renly’s Armor video....Props to the set people for their hard work.
Game of Thrones Season 2 premieres April 1st on HBO.
