NBC released its May-sweeps schedule Friday and amidst an increasingly expanding pile of crap, we do see some good news involving our buddy “Earl” and “The Office.”
NBC begins season finales with the 100th episode of “Crossing Jordan” on May 7. Wow, I’ve never seen one episode of this and I don’t feel the slightest bit guilty. In good news though, NBC will whore out it’s good stuff too. NBC will super-size “My Name is Earl” and “The Office” to 40 minutes each on May 11. Sounds likea good plan to me. If there is anything on NBC worth watching, it’s these two shows. Actually, it’s only these two shows. “Las Vegas” bows out on May 11 for the seasomn although many hope it is for good. One show that is ending its run is the vastly overrated “The West Wing” which airs its series finale on May 14. All three “Law & Order” shows wrap up as well with “Criminal Intent” ending on May 14, “SVU” closing its season on May 16, and the original “Law & Order” wrapping up on May 17. In other exciting news, “Will & Grace” closes production for good on May 18 with a two hour series finale which will be followed by ER’s season finale. For God’s sake, “ER” should have been cancelled 5 years ago. Last and definitely least, “Medium” ends its season on May 22. |
