Thereís some big casting news for the upcoming Battlestar Galactica prequel Blood and Chrome. Word is, young Adama and his boss have been cast.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Luke Pasqualino (Skins U.K.) is set to play a young William Adama, fresh out of training school and assigned to the new Battlestar in the Colonial fleet: Galactica. Galactica all new and shiny?! I canít wait to see this!

According to the information EW released, Adama butts heads with commanding officer Coker, played by Ben Cotton (Hellcats, Stargate Atlantis). While Adamaís career is just kicking off, Cokerís is winding down. Things get off to a rocky start for them but they eventually bond when a routine mission goes wrong.

If thereís one thing BSG has always been great at, itís creating interesting characters and few in the series are quite as interesting and mysterious as William Adama. Itíll be very interesting to see how Pasqualino and Cotton handle their roles.
