Every year's TV lineup is always filled with creative hits and misses, but it's often the ratings that decide shows' fates. Check out our list of 9 shows that deserve another season!
13 Big Shows That May Get Cancelled This Season
We've compiled a list of the shows that are already doing poor ratings over at the major networks. I have to say, these shows are all pulling numbers that are not enviable.
2016 Fall TV Schedule: When New And Returning Network TV Shows Will Air
The major networks have all decided which shows will be returning and which will be getting the cancellation axe. Unfortunately, this means we'll have to say goodbye to programs ranging from The Grinder to CSI: Cyber. However, it also means there are enough slots open that we'll be getting a slew of new TV shows next year.
CBS Just Renewed A Ton Of Shows, Get The Details
We’re in renewal/cancellation season for TV, so news from networks can be very big. CBS has now announced a whopping eleven series that will be returning for another season of laughter, adventure, and/or tears.
Elementary Added A Fringe Star In A Key Role
CBS’ Elementary has taken the classic Sherlock Holmes canon in some interesting directions over the last three seasons. We’ve seen classic characters re-imagined and original characters taking prominent roles. One character has been looming over the series since the beginning, and now we'll get him.
Criminal Minds, NCIS And A Ton Of Other Shows Have Been Renewed By CBS
It is finally renewal season, and CBS has just announced a slew of renewals for the 2015-2016 season, which is way better than when the network cancelled newbies Stalker, Battle Creek and The McCarthys.
10 TV Characters Who Could Die In 2015
From cancer to murder, fantasy dramas and crime dramas and more and more frequently killing off popular characters. I’d like to blame Game of Thrones’ first season for explaining to audiences that no character is really safe, but is it? Without further ado, here are 10 big deaths we expect to see in 2015.
The 10 Best Crime-Solving TV Shows Of 2014
There’s nothing I love more than turning on the television and trying to solve a mystery. Whether it’s an easily-wrapped, hour long case on a show like Bones or a longer, sprawling mystery that slowly unfurls over an entire season, I’m ready and willing to submit my guesses.
15 Popular TV Detectives, Ordered By Murder-Solving Ability
Let’s say something terrible happens to someone you know. For the sake of argument, let’s say a cousin who you’re kind of close to gets straight up murdered by some unknown hood. You need answers, and you want them quickly. Who should you go to?
CBS 2014-2015 Schedule Adds Spinoffs, Sets Final Season Of Two And A Half Men

Yesterday, word broke that CBS had given a massive 3-season renewal to The Big Bang Theory. Today, good news has come down for eighteen -- yes, eighteen! -- other CBS series. These aren't three-season renewals, but the network has ensured that a lot of their currently airing programs will be back on the air for the 2014-2015 season.
Top 5 TV Shows Of 2013: Mack's List
2013 has been a great year for television, so narrowing down our list of favorites was no easy task. As TV Blend has numerous writers with varying tastes in TV shows, we decided to go solo this year in sharing our Top 5 lists of the best series of 2013. This is Mack's list, which begins with an underrated procedural at #5.
Hey Procedurals, Stop Casting Your Most Famous Guest Star As The Killer
I watch shows like The Americans, Parenthood and Game Of Thrones to be surprised. I watch procedurals when I want the familiar. Unfortunately, there’s one thing that’s a little too familiar about random episodes of procedurals: killers who are way the hell more famous than every other random guest star.
Pirate Radio's Rhys Ifans Will Recur On Elementary In Season 2
Elementary is gearing up for a successful second season over at CBS. The series is sticking to its guns and its 10 p.m. Thursday slot next season, but the popular crime drama is still going to shake things up a bit with its cast. In fact, Season 2 will add a famous name from the Sherlock Holmes canon, bringing Mycroft Holmes into some plots throughout Season 2. In Elementary’s world, Mycroft will be played by none other than Rhys Ifans.
Elementary Season 1 Will Hit DVD In August
All of these positives likely contributed to the CBS drama’s Season 2 renewal earlier this month, but if you haven’t been able to catch the modern day Sherlock Holmes tale, you’ll be able to do so when Elementary hits DVD later this summer. Elementary: The First Season will hit shelves on August 27.

Holmes is heading home for Season 2 of Elementary! CBS announced today that their popular Sherlock Holmes detective series is headed to London for the second season premiere episode. This will be the first time the drama is being shot anywhere outside of New York.

These days, Natalie Dormer can be found trying to secure herself as the Queen on HBO's Game of Thrones.
