Fans of FX's so-wrong-it's-right sitcom It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia just had their day brightened: Fox has announced a September 14th release date for the fifth season on DVD and Blu-ray.

The sets will run you $49.99 for the Blu-ray and $39.98 for the DVD, although I'm not quite sure why you'd need this show in high-def, unless we've got some folks eroticizing Danny DeVito out there. Who am I to judge? Season 5 also looks to continue the show's tradition of including lots of cast commentaries. Which is a good thing, because their commentaries are usually pretty damn funny and...wait, does that say Dr. Drew?
