Subscribe To IL-2 Sturmovik Demo Coming Soon Updates
Console and PC gamers will soon have a chance to draw fire upon the skies and dog-fight enemies in the World War II flight simulator, IL-2 Sturmovik. But before the game hits retail shelves 505 Games has announced that a new single-player demo for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC gamers will be available on July 29th for each platform's respective online service.

That’s actually pretty good news considering that anyone reading this on a Monday will only need to wait a few days to get their hands on the single-player demo. Now if you can’t wait that long to start blasting those 30mm cannons at the sky-butchers of WWII, then maybe the following trailer will tide you over for a bit.

All right, back to business. The press release states that…
variety is at the heart of the action in IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey. Players participate in the most famous confrontations of the era piloting fighters, battle planes or heavy bombers across a range of missions. There are 6 theatres of war in which to engage – The Battle of Britain, Stalingrad, Berlin, Sicily, the Battle of the Bulge and Korsun – representing the main airborne battles of World War II in Europe.”
