Today Ubisoft launched the first special event for Assassin's Creed 3's single-player campaign. The "Leave No Witnesses" event encourages players to do something they'd do anyway: kill lots of people.

The event runs from today until November 26th. Players will have to rack up as many kills as possible in the campaign. If you've already beaten the game, you can replay memories in order to boost your count.

The player on each platform (Xbox 360, PS3, PC) with the most kills will earn a Season Pass. The Season Pass provides access to five DLC packs for the game, including new campaign starring an evil version of George Washington. It ordinarily costs $29.99.

Winning a five-day competition that's directly based on how much time you spend in the game is going to require you to live and breathe AC3 throughout the entire holiday weekend. If that doesn't sound the least bit fun to you, there's another way to win a Season Pass. Ubisoft will be giving one out to a random gamer on each platform who participates in the event.

To register for "Leave No Witnesses," head to the Assassin's Creed Network. Ubisoft plans to host other events in the future, some for the game's multiplayer modes.
