Today Ubisoft released the Assassin's Creed Anthology for the PS3 and Xbox 360. This mega-bundle contains all five games from the main Assassin's Creed series.

Assassin's Creed stars Altair, an Assassin who lived during the Third Crusade. Assassin's Creed 2, AC Brotherhood and AC Revelations introduced his Renaissance era descendant Ezio, who rose from a wreckless youth to leader of his Brotherhood. Assassin's Creed 3, released this fall, centers on a half-Native American named Connor who fights in the Revolutionary War.

All of these Assassins are the ancestors of Desmond Miles, a man living in the present day. In each of the games, he uses a machine called the Animus to relive these ancestors' memories. In doing so, he hopes to stop the plans of the Templars, a centuries-old secret society intent on world domination. In time, though, Desmond will learn that the stakes are even higher than that.

The bundle also includes five lithographs, a steel book, and the DLC packs released for each game. None of AC3's add-ons have been released yet, so Ubisoft threw in the Season Pass for that game. The Pass will give you access to five DLC packs as they're released.

UK gamers will be able to buy the bundle for £119.99 in the UK, while folks in mainland Europe will be able to get it for €150.00. Unfortunately, there are no plans to release the bundle in North America at this time.
