Awesome Art of the Instakill Video

YouTube user Corridor Digital has released a new (awesome) video showcasing the art of instant kills. Characters from several mainstream genres make an appearance including Master Chief and Shepard.

In the live-action video, familiar faces from video games take each other out with their instakill moves. The cast is a mix of characters from old and new games. The featured characters include Halo's protagonist Master Chief, Mass Effect's Commander Shepard, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2's Ghost and, yes, James Bond.

One of the kills in the videos sees Master Chief being stabbed by Shepard with his trusty omni-blade. At another point, Ghost takes out a BF3 soldier with a throwing knife. The overall winner, meanwhile, is Mario.

The two-minute video certainly consists of some commendable action. I don't think I've ever seen anything like it before. It's extremely well done and represents the characters perfectly.

Corridor Digital has been creating live-action videos based on gaming for well over a year now. One of their more popular videos is The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim being played out in real life. They made similar videos for Minecraft and Team Fortress 2 as well.
