Konami’s prized hack-and-slash, slice-‘n-dice, platforming puzzle action-adventure game for the Xbox 360 and PS3, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, is now available at local retailers. The game combines cutting edge visual effects with character driven storytelling.

Shinji Hirano, President of KONAMI (Americas) commented in the press release about the game becoming available for a wide audience of gamers, saying...
“Gamers will be impressed with a breath-taking adventure title that immerses players into a picturesque and dark cinematic experience. Combining those beautiful visuals with the help of Kojima Productions, has delivered the gripping Castlevania game that fans both old and new will come to love.”

Castlevania Lords of Shadow is already receiving quite a bit of positive reactions from the critics across the community, and gamers will be in for a real treat given the game’s expansive take on the dark and sinister world of Castlevania.

There are more than 50 different stages to interact with and more than 45 different enemies to cut, slash and dice into mince meat. Of course, what would the game be without some mind-sharpening puzzles to keep the brain from turning into button-mashing mush? That’s why the developers included a wealth of puzzles to keep gamers sharp and on their mental toes.

You can pick up a copy of the game for $59.99 for either the Xbox 360 or the PlayStation 3. For more info on what Castlevania: Lords of Shadow has to offer and what you can expect from the gameplay, feel free to visit the Official Website
