Rockstar let loose a ton of new screenshots for their upcoming open-world action title, Grand Theft Auto V. I might even venture to say that it's probably the most highly anticipated game of the year next to Call of Duty: Ghosts.
The new shots come courtesy of the Official PlayStation Magazine, and all 20 shots feature something that borderlines on mouthwatering. The few screenshots that have me most excited are the ones that feature the heist planning. Not to rag on Payday: The Heist, but hopefully GTA V will bring a real sense of danger and intrigue to the whole robbery angle that's not quite present in Overkill Software's FPS.
What's more is that Rockstar has said that they want to have a greater focus on the whole heisting angle to capitalize on one of the most popular missions (and my personal favorite) from GTA IV, Three-Leaf Clover. I'm hoping that there's an entire meta-game associated with heisting similar to the whole ambulance/police meta-games present in previous GTA games.
You can check out the new screenshots for Grand Theft Auto V below, which follow in the footsteps of Rockstar's newest trailers for each of the characters that they let loose just two days ago. You can look for GTA V to launch this fall for current generation consoles.
