It looks like Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams is set to make console gamers’ dreams come true with an upcoming release on both Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network.

Fans of clever platformers will want to perk up their ears on this one as the Kickstarted PC version of Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams was pretty well received on Metacritic and by PC gamers. Developed by Black Forest Games, Twisted Dreams is coming to home consoles courtesy of bitComposer Games.

The sisters’ first stop will be on the Xbox 360, where Twisted Dreams will finally launch on March 20. While no specific date has been announced, bitComposer went on to say that a PlayStation Network version of the game will be available “a few days later.” You can expect to fork over 1200 MSP for this bright and colorful adventure on the Xbox or, if my fake-currency-conversion tool is correct, about 15 bucks on the PS3.

According to a press release from bitComposer, Twisted Dreams allows the player to accompany the two sisters—who are different as night and day—on a journey to a fantastic world where their unique abilities hold the key to traversing lush levels and solving puzzles. You’ll also have a bunch of baddies to defeat so, yeah, stay on your toes.

“Giana transforms herself with lightning speed to solve puzzles or make use of special abilities,” reads the release. “with each transformation, her environment changes, too, and only players who skillfully apply the right strategy can complete tricky levels and defeat nasty end-bosses.”
